Gentleness

Gentleness is a teddy bear, encouraging me to sleep,

soft in my arms.

Gentleness is a breeze, wanting me to lie down,

as it drifts past my body.

Gentleness is a cloud, making me stare up,

flowing past me in the sky.

Gentleness is delicate like a vase,

But gentleness is strong when you are praying to God.

How to Make a Sled Kite!

Equipment:

Sled kite template

Scissors

String

Sellotape

Straws

Plastic bag

Crayons

Hole punch

Paper clip

Method:

1.Cut out your sled kite template with your scissors.

2.Colour your sled kite template in with the crayons that you chose.

3.Fold your piece of paper along the dotted lines.

4.Place your straws along the folded piece of paper.

5.Stick Sellotape along the straws until it's perfectly secure on both sides.

6.Put three piece of sellotape over each the black holes.

7.Punch a hole with your hole punch on each side of the holes.

8.Tie two of your pieces of string on to each side of the kite.

9.Tie each piece of string to the paper clip.

10.Cut a one metre piece of string and tie it to the paper clip.

11.Lay your plastic bag on the ground.

12.Cut the bag into strips making three rings.

13.Stick three of your strings on to the kite.  Run outside now you're ready for some fun!
