Gentleness 

Gentleness is a blanket,keeping me warm,

On cold dark nights.

Gentleness is a baby,keeping me happy,

When I am feeling sad. 

Gentleness is at Teddy bear,helping me get to sleep,

On dark scary nights.

Gentleness is fragile because it's easy to break like a glass bottle.

But gentleness is strong when it is shared.

How to make a sled kite

Equipment:

String

Template

Sellotape

Scissors

Straws

Plastic bag

Method:

1.cut out the sled kite with the scissors.

2.decorate the sled kite with crayons.

3.Fold the sides of the kite along the dotted lines on both sides.

4.attach one straw on each side of the folded lines with the Sellotape.

5.Stick three pieces of Sellotape on both sides of the template on the black dots.

6.Hole punch the holes over the black dots.

7.Thread string through the holes with one piece of string through each hole on each side.

8.Tie one longer piece of string to the ends of the two pieces of string through the holes.

9.Cut a plastic bag in strips but make sure you cut the handles off and put them in the bin.

10.Stick all of the strips on the kite, using Sellotape.

11.You're ready to fly your sled kite!

Last night I went to my learning conversation with my mum, dad and mrs Deeley. I shared all of my goals with them for maths,reading and writing. I showed mum and dad my writing book and maths loopy. I felt very nervous.mum and dad were proud of me and I was proud of myself too.

This term I will try to swim in a straight line with my backstroke.
